I’m selling her for $695 plus shipping. I bought the Little Gem a few months ago. The yarn you see on the bobbin is the only spinning I have done on this wheel. It’s a fabulous travel wheel that comes with a travel bag and a small Lazy Kate that holds 2 bobbins. It just so happens that I had been on the waiting list for a Robin Wheel for 2 1/2 years and he called me to tell my my Robin was ready (Woohoo!!!). I decided to sell this one as the Robin wheel is small enough to take in the car if need be.

I am selling my Louet Victoria. She is in excellent condition. I just bought a Majacraft Rose and am getting the Little Gem so I can use the bobbins on both wheels.

She is about a year old and has very little spinning mileage on her. Mine is the S96 (Oak)

The S96 - Solid Oak frame with a MDF and Oak veneer wheel and treadles.
The wheel has three holes, giving the effect of a spoked wheel.

Specifications: System: scotch tension Weight: 3.5 kg (7.7 pounds) Folded size: 14 x 36 x 55 cm (5-1/2” x 14” x 21”) The S95/S96 is more compact and lighter than any wheel currently on the market.

The flyer and bobbins need to be taken off the wheel to obtain these folded sizes. The bobbins and flyer do fit within these sizes. A bobbin rack for plying is built into the bag.

Ratios: 6:1, 8.5:1 & 13:1 Bobbin capacity: about 120 gr (4.5 ounces) Orifice: 9 mm (3/8”)

The S96 Oak Wheel is supplied with a bag for storage and carrying the wheel, fiber and yarn easier. This bag can be carried as a hand bag, a shoulder bag or as a back pack.

I live in Ellicott City, Maryland if anyone is interested to pick her up or I can ship her out to you if you live farther away. Paypal is my choice of payment.

Maryland Sheep and Wool was wooly and wonderful…but oh so HOT and HUMID!!! For some reason I start slacking off on my knitting just as the weather starts warming up from the Big Bad Winter. MD Sheep & Wool always give me the incentive and push to start working on all my knitting projects. I also get the spinning fever once again. Woohoo for Spring!!!

I have some photos I’ll post later from the festival…but now I need to go outside for a nice long walk since it is not snowing or raining…see you later!

That’s all the pics I took of the festival. Oh well…it was too hot & humid to think too much.

Guess what???? I got a new Spinning wheel!!!!! It is a Majacraft Rose. Talk about an object of Beauty…I’m calling her Fanny Rose. My Grandma’s name was Fanny & my maiden name was Rosenbloom…so I had to get her! Have a look…

I notice that the spokes are different than any other Rose I have seen. They must have just changed the design. Either way…I LOVE her!!!

I have been spinning everyday (on my Victoria) since MD Sheep & Wool & loving every minute of it. Now…I have my Rose & can’t wait to improve my spinning!!!

I haven’t been knitting too much in the last couple of weeks…but I can surely give you an update on my painting…started the background color…

My Art class ends in 3 weeks…so I will only get to finish this in the fall as she only wants us to work on our projects in her class. I will have to find something else to work on for the summer.

Now…to get on the ball with my Knitting!!! I need to finish Vivian.
I can’t wait till MD Sheep & Wool!!!!!

I can not believe how long it has been since I have posted on my blog. Time sure flies when you are having fun! I do have some finished knits since I last posted…but not as many as I should have. I have slacked off a bit in my knitting lately…but I’ll be getting back on track soon, soon, soon!
First up is…
Blanket…the Cardigan...

I used Rowan Soft Tweed and this yarn is sooo soft!
This pattern is by Drops Design. It is 103-1 Jacket in Eskimo or Silke-Alpaca with A-shape. I’m pretty pleased with this cardigan.

Next up is…
Ei Lina…The Hat...

The yarn is filatura di Crosa Zara. I have worn this hat quite a bit and still no pilling! I love it!!

Breeze…The Sock...

I made these for my Mom. She really loves these. I used Berroco Pure Merino Nuance. Lovely yarn.

I’m knitting this using Rowan RYC Cashcotton 4 ply. Again, I love this yarn! Very soft & cozy!!! I am in love with this sweater, but haven’t worked on it for a while! The thing I love about this knit is that I think this sweater looks great on everyone…all body shapes!!

To get started, here are some knits that I have finished (not as many as I’d have liked to finish) on my long break from blogging…

I am not in love with the fit of this. It is too short. I must remember to knit tops longer than I think they should be. Sometimes I don’t think I need to as I am very short waisted. Also…I just don’t like cotton. It does not bounce back.

I’m not happy with this top also. It is way too short. As I said before, I must knit my tops longer!! I would also have liked it better in a different yarn. I love the calmer…just not for this top. Oh well, You knit…you learn!

A finished circular shawl body with only the edging to go.
I am almost halfway done with the edging. This is my first time knitting an edging and it is very easy. I loved learning a new technique. It is also my first circular shawl. I can’t wait to finish and block it out. Then the magic will come!!! I’m using Malabrigo Lace yarn in color Azul Profundo. This yarn is fabulous to knit with. Oh so soft!!
